Two new organocatalysts prepared following a procedure developed at ICIQ are now available at STREM

Two new organocatalysts derived from cinchona alkaloids are available at STREM Chemicals Inc.

These compounds are prepared via a new synthetic method developed at CSOL in collaboration with Prof. Paolo Melchiorre. The organocatalysts, which exhibit excellent reactivity towards hindered carbonyl compounds, can be purchased at STREM (Catalog Numbers 07-1712 and 07-1717).

CSOL (Catalytic Solutions)

CSOL is a technology development unit integrated in the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ).
It offers innovative, tailor-made catalytic solutions for homogeneous transformations, including enantioselective reactions.CSOL’s mission is to act as the link between the researchers’ expertise and the industry, as well as developing the researchers’ discoveries into industrial applications with a comprehensive approach.
