Silver nanoparticles for olefin production

The paper by Núria López et al. deals with the gas-phase hydrogenation of propyne over supported silver nanoparticles.

Núria López, Javier Pérez-Ramírez and Christophe Copéret’s teams also report on the reaction’s mechanistic and kinetic studies.

The findings described in the paper broaden the mechanistic views of hydrogenation reactions over solid catalysts and open new directions for understanding related poor H2-splitting hydrogenation catalysts.

This article has been one of the most downloaded papers of ChemCatChem in September.
